Introduction & Overview

Welcome to OUTREP: Push-Up Battles ("OUTREP", "we", "our", or "us"). OUTREP is a competitive fitness and workout gamification platform that allows athletes to challenge themselves and friends in real-time pushup battles, arcade games, and form tracking.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used to deliver workout progression and leaderboards, and how your rights are protected across all platforms.

2.

Information We Collect

We collect information strictly necessary to provide the gamified fitness experience, sync your progress, manage leaderboards, and facilitate live friend challenges.

A. Account & Profile Details

Authentication: Email address and unique user identifier via Google Sign-In or email credentials.
Public Profile: Chosen username, display name, profile avatar, and optional country flag for leaderboards.
Social Connections: Friends list, incoming/outgoing challenge requests, and head-to-head match history.

B. Workout & Game Performance

Repetition Metrics: Pushup counts, workout duration, and challenge results (victories and defeats).
Game Scores: Flappy Pushups flight scores and Neck Rush reflex records.
Progression: Accumulated XP, current athlete level, and unlocked achievements.
3.

Camera & On-Device Computer Vision

OUTREP uses your device camera solely to evaluate exercise form and count repetitions (e.g., detecting pushup descent depth, elbow flexion, and body alignment).

On-Device Processing: Camera frames for repetition tracking are analyzed in real time inside temporary device memory (RAM) using Google ML Kit Pose Detection. The mathematical calculations occur locally on your phone and are instantly discarded. No raw camera images or video recordings from pose tracking are ever saved, stored, or transmitted to any server.

4.

Live 1v1 Multiplayer & WebRTC

During real-time 1v1 friend challenges, live video and optional audio streams connect directly peer-to-peer between matched participants using encrypted WebRTC protocol.

Zero Recording Guarantee: OUTREP does not record, intercept, or store live 1v1 battle streams on our infrastructure. The communication session ends automatically when the workout timer expires.

5.

Device Permissions

We request only the device permissions essential to operate the app's core workout features:

Camera: Required for automated pose tracking and live 1v1 visual challenges.
Microphone: Used only for optional real-time voice communication during live matches.
Photo Library: Used solely when you choose to upload a custom profile avatar.
Network Access: Required to synchronize scores, match with friends, and maintain leaderboard rankings.
6.

Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active to preserve your level, XP, and workout history.

You hold the absolute right to delete your personal data at any time. You can initiate instant, irreversible deletion of your account and all associated workout logs by navigating to Profile > Manage Account > Delete Account.

For detailed deletion instructions, please view our Account Deletion Guide.
